Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- Former French Health Minister Agnes Buzyn will be tried for "endangering the lives of others" in the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Judges of the Republican Court of Justice (CJR) have decided that Buzyn, who was Health Minister until February 2020, should be charged with "endangering the lives of others in the pandemic" after his testimony on the grounds that he mismanaged the Covid-19 pandemic, Le Monde newspaper reported.

Investigators said Buzyn may have been 'guilty of deliberately refraining from taking the necessary measures in the fight against a disaster, but would be heard as an assisted witness in the case because there was not enough evidence to bring charges.
