Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In France, the health authority acknowledged that the reported number of Covid-19 cases, deaths and patients recovering remained far below the actual number.
The National Public Health Agency (SPS), the French Ministry of Health, said on its official website: "due to the difficulty of identifying all of the Covid-19 cases and biological confirmation, the data presented falls short of the actual numbers."
The SPS, which is responsible for the management and surveillance of epidemics in the country, announced that a total of 25 thousand 233 people in France were diagnosed with the new type coronavirus Covid-19, 1331 people died and 3,900 patients were brought back to health as of March 25.
Covid-19 cases are confirmed after the test results came back positive. Coronavirus test results are transferred directly from laboratories and hospitals to the SPS system.
On the other hand, coronavirus tests are performed on patients with more severe symptoms, health workers, pregnant women and organ donors. Therefore, it is thought that the numbers taken with the test results do not reflect the overall population.
