Serhat TUNAR -TDO- France and the UK, the countries most affected by the Coronavirus outbreak, are preparing to take new measures to make it mandatory to wear masks indoors.
French President Emmanuel Macron said in a statement on the issue that he wants to make it mandatory to wear masks in confined spaces starting next month.
Macron added that the best ways to protect against the virus are wearing masks, following social distance rules and washing hands regularly.
UK Health Minister Matt Hancock also announced that wearing masks in shops and supermarkets in his country would be made compulsory. Hancock said in a statement on the matter that caution should be exercised to the point of keeping the virus under control.
