France has criticized Russia regarding war crimes related to the attacks in Syria. French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has been turning against Moscow in order to end the ongoing tragedy in Aleppo.
Making a statement on the French Embassy in Washington, Ayrault continues to make pressure on Russia not to veto the ceasefire agreement made by Russia, Spain and France.
In this context, French minister said that he spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about his concerns on the issue during his visit to Moscow and he added that he was hopeful about the solution. Ayrault said to Lavrov “I wish Russia did not want to be a part of this terrible tragedy of mankind. I am still hopeful to finalize this decision for solution.”
However, the diplomatic crisis between the West and Russia have been jeopardized since Russia has vetoed a draft the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution voted by eleven of the security council' 15 members.
The consensus on Syria between Russia and the United States (US) had not occurred yet. In this regard the eastern Aleppo region covered with fire by the Russian Army. Hospitals were generally chosen as attacks points of the conflict in Aleppo. However, the conflicts have been considered as a turning point in five years of war in Syria and as an end to Assad' victory.
