FIRST CORONAVIRUS VACCINE IN GERMANY

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The first coronavirus vaccine in Germany was given to 101-year-old Edith Kwoizalla.

Edith Kwoizalla, 101, who lives in an aged care centre in the resort of Halberstadt, near the city of Magdeburg, was given a Coronavirus vaccine co-produced by BioNTech and Pfizer.

According to local media, 50 people were vaccinated at the Aged Care Center, and 10 of them were employees.

In Germany, where official mass vaccination will begin tomorrow, people over the age of 80 and nurses and hospital staff at risk have priority over vaccination.
