Selin ATAY-TDO- It was the first direct commercial flight from Tel Aviv to Morocco, the fourth Arab country to normalize relations with Israel. The Israeli delegation, led by Israeli National Security Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat, visited the capital Rabat accompanied by Jared Kushner, the son-in-law and adviser to President Donald Trump.

Four agreements were signed as part of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries after King Mohammed of Morocco accepted a joint delegation of the United States and Israel.

The first agreement signed between Morocco and Israel made it possible for holders of diplomatic and service passports to be exempt from visas, according to a statement by the Moroccan Foreign Ministry. In a statement, the ministry said that the second agreement signed between the two countries is a memorandum of understanding in the field of Civil Aviation. The third agreement is the innovation and development of Water Resources, and the fourth agreement is the memorandum of understanding, which provides for cooperation in the field of Finance and investment. According to the Moroccan Foreign Ministry, the fourth agreement envisions reviving economic relations between Israel and Morocco through trade and investment.

Morocco is the fourth Arab country to normalize relations with Israel, after the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan. Palestine has reacted harshly to the normalization agreements signed, arguing that Israel has been "betrayed" by its long-standing demand for the recognition of Palestine as a state.
