News Center -TDO- Belarusian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Savinykh and his spouse Vera Savinykh hosted a reception at Ankara Sheraton Hotel in consequence of ending Mr. Ambassador’s term of office in Turkey.
The embassy employees and many guests attended to the reception.
Ambassador Savinykh, in his speech here, said that since the day he started working in Ankara, Turkey and Belarus governments held meetings regarding trade issues between the scopes of consultations.
Ambassador Savinykh reported that the delegation, being led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Oleg Kravchenko, included seven experts, as well as Belarusian officials working in the fields of customs and agriculture.
Reminding that Turkey was the first country to recognize the independence of Belarus, Ambassador Savinykh told that the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was celebrated in 2017.
Ambassador Savinykh pointed out that he has worked in Turkey for 5 years and 9 months and, expressed his pleasure to serve here.
At the end of his speech, Ambassador Savinykh thanked and presented medals to the Honorary Consul of Belarus in AlanyaFatih Akin, Honorary Consul of Belarus in Adana Mustafa Bayık, Honorary Consul of Belarus in Antalya Laçin Mirza, Honorary Consul of Belarus in Bursa Aybar Uluca and Honorary Consul of Belarus in Izmir Murat Yorgancıoğlu.
