Serhat TUNAR -TDO- A no-confidence motion submitted to Parliament by the far-right Vox party, which argued that the government had failed during the Coronavirus outbreak in Spain, was rejected by a large majority.

In the 350-seat parliament, a total of 52 MPs from the Vox party voted to bring down the government, while the other 298 voted 'no'.

Spain has become the first country in Western Europe where coronavirus cases have reached one million. So far, 34 thousand people have lost their lives due to the pandemic, while experts note that this number may be higher due to problems such as technical deficiencies and low number of tests.
