İlknur Şebnem Öztemel-TDO- The European Parliament passed the draft and enabled Ukrainians to come to their land without avisa.
The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of making Ukrainians travel to the EU without a visa. The proposed bill passed by a 521-75 margin - with 36 abstentions. Ukrainians who has a biometric passport would be able to enter EU countries, EU countries Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland, except for the UK and Ireland. They can only enter UK and Ireland without as they got avisa for 90 days in any 180-day period.
Ukrainian Europe Minister Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said the vote was "a strong signal to the aggressor that Ukraine is on its way back to the European family ".
Also, Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, a Swedish member of the EU parliament, said "Great day for the people of Europe and Ukraine ".
Nevertheless, it is too early to dream about full membership to the union as there are some security and economic problems about the country. Whether Europeans are sincere in thoughts of not, it is obvious that Russia lost a significant stronghold. They know how to fight in certain methods but this is not one of them.
