Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and United States President Joe Biden met at NATO Headquarters as part of the NATO Summit.
The 45-minute meeting, in which the leaders met face-to-face for the first time since Biden took the presidency, was closed to the press.
Afterward, meetings were held between the delegations.
"We have taken a constructive approach to both the issues in which we disagree and the opportunities for cooperation in areas where we have common interests... We agreed to use direct channels of dialogue effectively and regularly, in accordance with the two allies and the strategic partner." Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a statement.
