EASA LAYS OUT ITS PROPOSED CONDITIONS FOR RETURN TO SERVICE OF THE BOEING 737 MAX

Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- The European Union (EU) may grant flight permits next week to Boeing 737 Max passenger planes, which have been banned from flying following accidents.

Patric Ky, director of The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), made remarks to Boeing's 737 Max aircraft produced by the United States (USA), whose flight was banned after accidents in 2018 and 2019.

Ky has said the final permit for the resumption of Boeing 737 Max aircraft in Europe will be granted next week.

Ky said that the issue of how accidents occurred has become clear, and that the changes made to improve the safety of aircraft meet the flight safety criteria.
