DENMARK WILL DISTRIBUTE ASTRAZENECA VACCINES TO UNDEVELOPED COUNTRIES

Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- World Health Organization (WHO) European President Hans Kluge said Denmark is considering sharing these vaccines with economically undeveloped countries after it stopped using AstraZeneca vaccines developed for the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Denmark's Health Ministry said it had "completely" stopped the use of AstraZeneca vaccines on April 14 because it caused rare but serious side effects.

In Denmark, only two of the 150,000 people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine had "blood-clotting" and on March 11, the use of such vaccines was temporarily suspended.
