Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- The measures implemented in Greece as part of measures against the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic have lifted the curfew and interregional travel ban, which has been in place for about 7 months.
However, the long-awaited tourist season of the public and private sectors opened on 15 May.
Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis told the press: "We have now put the dark clouds of fear and mistrust behind us. Foreign tourists hope to return to our country with sunlight and turquoise waters with great enthusiasm."
Domestic and foreign tourists will be able to travel to the country and islands without limitation by sea and air thanks to documents and vaccination certificates indicating that the Covid-19 test is negative.
