COALITION GOVERNMENT IN ITALY GETS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Italy, the government received a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on Monday (yesterday) after its coalition partners, the Italia Viva party, withdrew.

As is known, Matteo Renzi, leader of the Italia Viva party, one of the partners in the coalition government, announced that Agriculture Minister Teresa Bellanova and Family Minister Elena Bonetti would resign at a press conference in the Italian Senate last week, and announced that Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Scalfarotto would also leave his post, saying they were withdrawing from the coalition government.

In Italy, the government went to a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on Monday (yesterday) after the Italia Viva party withdrew from the coalition.

The 5 Star Movement (M5S), Democratic Party (PD), free and equal (LeU) coalition, led by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, received a vote of confidence, exceeding 315, an absolute majority in the House of Representatives, the lower wing of Parliament.
