Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The Swiss Federal Court ruled that World Champion athlete Caster Semenya, whose testosterone level is three times higher than ordinary women, cannot compete at 800 meters at the World Athletics Championships in Qatar.
The court re-enacted the change in testosterone hormone restriction in athletes, preventing Semanya from participating in the race to protect its title.
It was stated that the change of rules regarding hormone limitation suspended last month was re-evaluated after meeting with International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). After the completion of the lawsuit process, the decision of Semenya was rejected.
Caster Semenya, 28, has lost her chance to participate in the 2019 World Athletics Championships, where she plans to fight for the women's 800m title.
