Serhat TUNAR -TDO- American aircraft maker Boeing lost value on the stock market after new errors were detected in the production of its 787 Dreamliner.
Recently, the company's same type 8 aircraft had been towed to the hangar due to a different technical fault. A statement from Boeing on the matter claimed that the manufacturing errors that occurred apply to aircraft that have not yet been delivered and do not pose a risk to airline safety.
The statement also said the error was related to the installation of horizontal stabilizers in the tail section of the aircraft. It was also said that up to 900 aircraft were likely to be examined after the error was revealed.
