Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken issued a statement on "continued cooperation with Turkey" in the days when the U.S. and Ankara were strained by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
"Maintaining cooperation with our NATO ally Turkey on common priorities is of great importance," Blinken said in a statement.
Blinken posted a tweet on his Twitter account after a phone call with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, "Timely opportunity to speak with Mevlut Cavusoglu today. Continued cooperation with our NATO Ally Turkey on shared priorities is of paramount importance. I also voiced our support for constructive talks with Greece and emphasized the importance of democracy and human rights," he said.
