Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- The Belgian government has stopped the use of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine developed for the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) for under-41s.
The decision was made after a woman under the age of 40 died of complications.
The 40-year-old Slovenian woman, a Brussels resident and a spouse of a diplomat was taken to hospital and died of a rare thrombosis.
The woman, who is said to have received the vaccine through her country's embassy, received the vaccine on May 21.
The complication of death is the first reported example of this vaccine so far.
