As the Ankara HiltonSA family, we are ready to host the 'Bangladesh Food Festival, where the centennial of the birth of Dear Bangabandhu is celebrated, together with the progress of our normalization process and our carefully taken COVID-19 measures. For four days, between 19:00-22:30, the doors of our Greenhouse Restaurant will be open to bring you traditional Bangladesh flavors. This organization will continue at Adana HiltonSA and Mersin HiltonSA after Ankara HiltonSA to bring the unique tastes of Bangladesh together with the Turkish taste," she said.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Mosud Mannan said, "There is a proverb in Bangladeshi that means 'The way to the heart is through the stomach."

Ambassador Mannan noted that the event was organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, whom they consider the ancestor of the nation of Bangladesh and the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence.

Stating that the two countries' cuisines have differences and similarities, Ambassador Mannan said that Bangladesh has a fish-based culinary culture. At the same time, Turkish taste is based on meat. Ambassador said they have similar dishes to Turkish cuisine, but they have slightly more spicy dishes, but of course, we don't have baklava, he laughed.

In the event, meals prepared by chefs from Bangladesh were served to the participants.
