Selin ATAY-TDO-President of Pakistan-administered Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan said that "Please save the Kashmiris from this genocide. Let this be a priority for you, create pressure on India.”
Pakistan-administered Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Massoud Khan, in a speech at the Congress titled "Kashmir crisis: threats to peace and the role of the international community," called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to intervene in the region.
Khan called for creating pressure on India so as to investigate human rights violations and set up a humanitarian corridor, and said that a nuclear war could take place in the region, then it would have enormous consequences across the world.
Khan quoted 13 thousand Kashmiri youths being taken to prisons under the very poor conditions in India, and "They suddenly disappeared and we don't know what happened to them. People gather arbitrarily off the street. A genocide is taking place. Today, every young man from Kashmir is considered a terrorist and every young girl is seen as a treat for the invasion forces. Women are being gang raped by the invading forces., "he said.
Khan said India had made fake maps, and that the international community and international law had been misled by these fake maps.
It is emphasized that the government of India ignored both the Geneva Convention and the UNSC resolutions, in addition to that khan stressed that Kashmir’s special rights have been stripped away by Indian administration.
Praising Turkey for its stand on Kashmir, President of Pakistan-administered Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan stated that "We have turned our faces to Turkey. Turkey is the symbol and pioneer of the Renaissance of Islam. Turkey can be a powerful catalyst to normalize the situation in Jammu Kashmir and to initiate a transition process on international platforms”.
