Three 'serious explosive devices' have been detonated near a Borussia Dortmund team bus outside their hotel. Defender Marc Bartra was injured in the blast.

Three explosions happened  near Borussia Dortmund's team bus as it set off for the Champions League quarterfinal match against AS Monaco.

A senior police officer  Gregor Lange said ‘’ We are assuming that they were a targeted attack against the Dortmund team’’.

Also, it has been alleged that a letter had been found near the scene of the blast written by an individual claiming responsibility for the attack.
