Hassam Hameed-TDO-27.01.2018- Fire killed around 37 people as of now, in South Korea this friday, and 70 are injured according to the firefighters. It happened in the city of Miryang which is about 270 km southeast of Seoul.
This hospital was a 60-storey building, which specialized in caring for elderly people with special needs as well as other patients. Around 200 patients were inside the building at the time of the incident. Most of the victims died due to smoke inhalation and 13 people are still in critical condition.
It is yet not clear how the fire started, but "Two nurses said they had seen fire suddenly erupting in the emergency room," said fire chief Choi Man-Woo.
