Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said talks with Azerbaijan over the border dispute had failed.
Pashinian announced that he had asked Russian leader Vladimir Putin for help, including military support.
Pashinyan said on May 14th that talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia following tensions between the two countries over Lake Sev had failed to reach an agreement.
Pashinian stated that the talks will continue on May 15, adding that the Azerbaijani side has not fully withdrawn its military forces from the region as promised.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on May 14th, "The Armenian side has expressed extreme concerns about the situation at the border. President Putin shared this concern.”
