Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Human Rights Watch warned that Croatia's violent repatriation of migrants across the border has led to human rights violations and should therefore be prevented from entering the Schengen area.
As is known, the European Commission approved Croatia's entry into the Schengen area on 22 October. Human Rights Watch has released a video of the violence, alerting the European Commission.
The video shows Croatian police turning migrants back directly across the border, preventing them from seeking asylum. The migrants ' bags were burned and beaten. The video describes how many migrants were sent back to Bosnia and Herzegovina by Croatian police in August. CCTV footage reveals that Croatian police are not following legal procedure.
