Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Brussels, an angry crowd protesting the death of an African teenager at a police station after being detained by police set fire to a vehicle.
An angry group gathered near a police station near a train station north of Brussels protested to police after the 23-year-old, named as Ibrahima Barrie, died while in custody last Saturday night.
Incidents escalated after some of the demonstrators chanting slogans threw stones at the police.
A group of demonstrators decamped to the alleyways, where police intervened by spraying water cannons. Some of the demonstrators set fire to the entrance to another nearby police headquarters, a nearby vehicle and some trash cans.
