News Center -TDO- Calligraphy exhibition, consisting from the artworks of Korean artist Oh Min-Jun and hosted by the director of Korean Cultural Center Dongwoo Cho, was opened.
At the same time, Korea's national holiday "Hangeul" (Korean Alphabet Day) was also celebrated.
Art overs showed great interest to the exhibition named “The Dream” of which opening was made by Oh Min-Jun, Visiting Professor at Calligraphy Design Department from Daejeon University and Director of Korean Calligraphy Design Association.
Min-Jun made a speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition and said that he was honored with organizing an exhibition in Turkey.
Stating that Turkey's has a real bond with the Republic of Korea, Min-Jun also told "We are proud of each other as two countries, we value each other and are deeply connected.”
Min-Jun said that Turkey is a very rich country regarding its historical and cultural values and added that he was impressed from these values of Turkey.
Min-Jun also told “Calligraphy has a calming effect on the mind. Calligraphy is a good motivator for life energy and expects to serve as a new communication tool."
Describing his work to the participants, Min-Jun gave 50 art-lovers the postcards he wrote with his own hand.
