The reception was attended by The President's Senior Advisor Yalcin Topçu, Deputy Minister of Commerce Sezai Uçmak, ambassadors, and many academics and guests.

Ambassador Amanliyev, who gave the opening speech, said: “I sincerely thank you all for your presence and sharing our joy at the reception organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Independence Day of Turkmenistan!

On September 27, 2021, the people of Turkmenistan celebrate with great enthusiasm the 30th Anniversary of its Independence, which it gained at the most important stage in human history. On this occasion, a magnificent parade and festive events are held in our capital, Ashgabat.

During the years of independence, there were great developments in all areas of social life in Turkmenistan. The field of economy is developing based on the principles of diversification. In 30 years, the investments made in this field have increased many times and hundreds of production-technical and social-cultural facilities have been established.

As a result, a multi-faceted economy system emerged in our country. Electrical energy, oil and gas sector, machinery industry, tourism, metallurgy, chemistry, construction, electronics, textile and food industry fields and other industrial branches constitute various fields of the country's economy.

With the implementation of regular macroeconomic policy, the volume of gross domestic product is increasing. This has been possible through the implementation of strategic programs aimed at the long-term development of the country.

Increasing the social security of the country's population is one of the priority aspects of the state policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan. Most of the state budget is allocated to education, health, sports and other social areas.

At the same time, great importance is attached to the development of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people. The spiritual-cultural development policy implemented in the country aims to further raise the level of education, science, culture and art.

In addition, great work is being done by the state in the field of health. Modern health centers and health institutions built in Ashgabat and various provinces are an indication of this.

The state policy implemented in the field of physical education and sports also yields positive results. Thus, the qualifications of Turkmen athletes increased and their success at the international level increased.

Today, Turkmenistan is confidently moving forward on the path of great innovations implemented in all areas of economic and social life.

In addition, great importance is attached to the issues related to the rise of our state to the ranks of the developed countries of the modern world.

As is known, in the field of foreign policy, Turkmenistan was given a permanent neutrality degree by the UN General Assembly on 12 December 1995. Emphasizing the importance of positive neutrality policy, with the initiatives of Turkmenistan, the UN General Assembly declared December 12 as the International Day of Neutrality.

The peaceful policy pursued by Turkmenistan aims at a constructive solution to regional and global problems. Because today, ensuring peace, security and sustainable development in the world is an important factor.

At the same time, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the consolidation of friendly and mutually beneficial interstate relations and cooperation. In this context, relations with the Republic of Turkey are noteworthy. As it is known, Turkey was the first country to recognize the independence of Turkmenistan. As a result of the determined attitudes of the two states, Turkmen-Turkish relations reached high dimensions during the years of Independence.

The great relations that unite the peoples of the two brotherly countries and our common historical and cultural values, whose roots go deep into the centuries, constitute an important condition for the development of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation.

Today, the Parties are making efforts to raise the friendly and fraternal relations to higher levels under the leadership of the National Leaders of the two countries.

Concluding my words, I would like to express my gratitude once again for your participation in our National Day event today”

Deputy Minister of Commerce Sezai Uçarmak also gave a speech at the event.
