News Center -TDO- Hosted by Tajikistan's Ambassador to Turkey, Ashrafcon Gulov, and Parvina Rahmonova, a reception was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Ankara to mark Tajikistan's 30th anniversary of independence.
The Deputy Chairman of the Parliament, Celal Adan, and many guests have attended the reception.
Ambassador Gulov pointed out that Turkey was one of the first countries to recognize Tajikistan, "Next year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations. Both countries have made significant strides in cooperation. One of the priority foreign policies of our country is to improve relations with Turkey. Turkey is also one of Tajikistan's important trading partners."
"We see Tajikistan as an ancient friend and an important partner in Central Asia, which has a beautiful place in our foreign policy," Adan said at the reception, noting that the Turkish and Tajik peoples have lived together in the same geography for centuries.
