Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Ukraine's presidential candidate Yulia Timoshenko claims thatshe will take Crimea back if she wins the elections.
"I will not only take back the occupied areas of Crimea and Donbass, but also make it compensate the damage suffered by our country," said Yulia Timoshenko, who met with voters recently.
According to Sputnik, Timoshenko, noted that with the proclamation of the Budapest Memorandum, Ukraine is not a member of NATO. She alsostated that being a member of the NATO is the only way to guarantee of the national security of Ukraine.
As is known, on 5 December 1994 the Budapest Memorandum was signed by the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, the United States and the United Kingdom. The document aimed at ensuring compliance with the OSCE Final Act and strengthening Ukraine's position as a non-nuclear weapon. However, this agreement was not ratified by the Russian parliament.
