Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Coronavirus cases have increased in 11 countries across Europe following the loosening of its rules, World Health Organization officials said.
Hans Kluge, director in charge of the European region of the World Health Organization, said there had been a rapid increase in coronavirus cases, particularly in eastern European countries, and said those countries needed to reconsider their health systems.
Hans Kluge said: "Epidemic cases in 11 countries are rising rapidly. In the last two-week period, figures in a total of 30 countries have risen. It is necessary to take immediate action against this rapid rise." The 11 countries he mentioned are Sweden, Armenia, Moldova, Northern Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo and Ukraine."
