Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Nearly 50 thousand people attended the commemoration ceremonies for 50 people who were killed as a result of a recent terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Thousands of non-Muslim New Zealanders marched to commemorations in Auckland. In the commemoration ceremony, people shouted slogans against racism, in the protesters' banners the main messages were the lives of immigrants and living in peace.
Remembrance ceremonies continued at noon in Christchurch where the attack took place. After the noon prayer, tens of thousands of people with different ethnic origins and beliefs were talked about peace and tolerance.
At the commemoration many women wore the headscarf to support relatives of many New Zealand who were killed as a result of a terrorist attack.
