Serhat TUNAR -TDO-A meeting of anti-ISIS coalition Foreign Ministers held in Washington, the capital of the United States, once again revealed the divide between the United States and European Union member states over whether jailed ISIS militants should be sent to their home countries and prosecuted.

While the United States wants European countries to take back and prosecute ISIS militants who are citizens, European Union member states continue to insist on their reluctance to do so.

In particular, there was no consensus on how and how to send ISIS militants to countries where they are citizens.

Foreign Ministers of the anti-ISIS coalition discussed Turkey's recent operation in northern Syria and the United States ' decision to reduce the number of troops in the region. The future of the imprisoned ISIS militant and his family in northern Syria was the top agenda item of the meeting.
