With 750 suspected cases of coronavirus in Iran and 18 confirmed, along with five deaths, Turkey is subjecting all arrivals from Iran to medical checks, and barring people with symptoms from entering the country, said the country's top health official on Friday.
Fahrettin Koca, not only Iranians at the border crossings, but also everyone, if the Afghan, Pakistani, will be taken into the country after this medical examination, he said.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said his Iranian counterpart that Turkey is offering to assist in their struggle in every possible way.
The death toll in Iran from the new type coronavirus (Kovid-19) has risen to 4.
In a statement, Iranian Health Ministry Public Relations Officer Kiyanush Jahanpur said that a further 13 people were detected coronavirus across the country, including 7 in Qom, 4 in Tehran and 2 in Gilan.
Jahanpur also reported that 2 more people infected with coronavirus lost their lives.
Recently, a "Corona Prevention and Combat Center" was established at the instruction of President Hassan Rouhani after 2 people were killed due to the new type coronavirus (Kovid-19) in the Iranian city of Qom.
