Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In Sweden, the government aims to tackle the coronavirus crisis by relying on the public's social responsibility, rather than resorting to strict rules restricting street appearances.

While the covid-19 outbreak has affected Europe, most countries have severely restricted street exits. Swedish public health officials believe the public will take the necessary measures by fulfilling their responsibilities.

According to the BBC, the majority of Swedes have high confidence in the authorities. This allows people to take the state's warnings more seriously.

On the streets of Stockholm, the Swedish capital, people can walk up and down the street and many shopping malls and cafes still continue to be served. And until last Sunday, nightclubs in the country were open. However, it is now banned from events where more than 50 people gather.
