Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Russia and Iran have announced that they have destroyed the United States' cyber espionage network and US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agents have been arrested.
The first explanation was made by Iran. Iran State TV IRIB, according to the Iranian National Defense Supreme Council President Ali Shamkhani reported that the US cyber espionage network detected and collapsed. Shamkhani said that CIA agents shared the list with friendly countries and that these agencies were captured by their allies.
Shortly after Iran's announcement, a similar statement was made by Russia. Russian-based RIA and TASS news agencies announced that the US authorities' attempts to cyber-attacks have been neutralized.
The US Attorney General's office announced last March that nine Iranian citizens were wanted for cyber-attacks on state-owned servers, companies and universities.
