Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The World Health Organization announced a record increase in the number of daily coronavirus cases on Thursday (yesterday) following the arrival of the second wave in Europe.
According to data from the World Health Organization, more than 338 thousand cases of coronavirus have been detected in the last 24 hours. Thus, the total number of cases in the world reached 36 million 662 thousand. 1 million 65 thousand people have died in the outbreak to this day.
It is believed that the main reason for the record increase in cases is a re-increase in cases in many European countries, such as France and the UK. The European region is now reporting more cases than India, Brazil and the United States, according to the World Health Organization.
But experts warn that the number could be much higher given the undetected cases as well.
