Serhat TUNAR -TDO- About two hundred and fifty thousand demonstrators in the Czech capital of Prague, Prime Minister Andrej Babis demanded the resignation of the street. The protests are regarded as the largest popular movement in the country since the Velvet Revolution, which demolished communism in 1989.
The demonstration in Letna Park in Prague was the culmination of protests against Prime Minister Andrej Babis, who has been investigated for alleged corruption and conflict of interest in recent weeks. Protesters claimed that about 250,000 people participated in the protest on Sunday in Czechia with a total population of 10 million. Czech and European Union flags were carried along with written banners demanding the Prime Minister's resignation.
Prime Minister Andrej Babis said that people have the right to protest but he will certainly not resign.
