Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas made statements after the meeting of the Central Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization at the Presidential Palace in the occupied West Bank. Abbas said all agreements with Israel have been suspended and a mechanism will be set up for the implementation of this decision.
The Palestinian President continued his speech as follows:
"As long as our people do not have their rights, it will not be possible to talk about peace, security and stability in the region and in the world. This unacceptable occupation state will collapse and our ancient state will attain independence."
At its thirtieth meeting in October 2018, the Palestinian Central Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization announced that it had suspended its decision to recognize Israel until it recognized the Palestinian state.
