Selin ATAY-TDO- Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan said they were always ready for dialogue with India to solve the Kashmir problem.
"Whenever tensions fall in the region and we spend less money on the defense industry then we become more prosperous." PM Imran Khan said.
Prime Minister Khan spoke at the conference on the "Vision of regional peace and security" at the Malaysian Institute of International Higher Islamic Studies in the capital Kuala Lumpur.
Referring to the Kashmir problem, "If you ask me, the situation there could get worse. As we have seen in history, whenever someone incites the fire of extreme nationalism and incites hatred against other communities, it ends in bloodshed." Khan said:
Praising Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad's stance on Kashmir, Khan thanked Mahathir for India's stance against human rights abuses in Kashmir.
