OBAMA`S NEW PLATFORM FOR YOUNG AFRICAN ENTREPRENEURS

The United States of America is intensifying measures to create a partnership and empower budding young African leaders and entrepreneurs. In late July 2014, President Barack Obama for the first time ever hosted some 500 of Africa’s most promising young leaders at the Washington Fellowship for Young African leaders’ Presidential summit. A White House press release said, the 500 participants were selected from nearly 50,000 applicants from across Africa, as part of the President’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
