After a 50-day break in Beijing, the number of positive cases has risen to 106 since June 12, according to China's National Health Commission.
The Fentagi district administration, which includes the Xinfadi wholesale food market, said a mechanism had been created to prevent the spread of the virus.
However, it was also announced that anyone arriving in Beijing would be kept under quarantine for 14 days.
