Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In South Sudan, twenty soldiers were injured as a result of a crash of a military helicopter carrying United Nations Peacekeepers' troops.
According to a statement, the helicopter carrying the United Nations peacekeepers fell in a few minutes after starting to land due to a technical failure. 20 soldiers were injured in the accident. It was announced that one of the injured soldiers was seriously wounded.
The helicopter completed the patrol in the Pagak region and aired to return to the United Nations base in Malakal, South Sudan.
A similar incident took place in the recent days, in the controversial Abyei region on the Sudan-South Sudan border, three soldiers and ten soldiers were injured as a result of the Ethiopian military helicopter under the United Nations Peacekeeping Force crashed.
