Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Former World Champion Michael Schumacher, the legend of Formula 1, was allegedly hospitalized in Paris for a secret treatment.
According to the newspaper Le Parisien, Schumacher, who was taken to Pompidou Hospital, is scheduled to undergo stem cell transplantation by French physician Philippe Menasche.
Philippe Menasche is recognized as the pioneer of stem cell therapy in heart failure. The treatment will begin on Tuesday and the former racer will be discharged on Wednesday. Schumacher's spokesman has not yet made a statement about these allegations.
Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher was in a coma for months after an accident when he was skiing in the French Alps six years ago. The family of the pilot, who never appeared in front of the cameras after this incident and turned 50 in January, said that he was in safe hands.
Schumacher has won 91 grand prix titles during his career and remains the highest-ranked driver in Formula 1 history.
