Disappearance of 43 students sparked big protests in Mexico, the case is still being investigated and has prompted a package of reforms to deal with the security challenges in the country . The identification of the corpses is awaited.
There have been many reports recently about the social discontent in Mexico. The protests seem to continue and to gather steam. The movement started with the kidnapping of 43 students but then it trnasformed in to an outcry for justice and has made the government strengthen its strategy to reinforce the rule of the law, to fight organized crime and to improve the social conditions in those areas of the country which have received fewer benefits from Mexico’s good economic performance.
