Serhat TUNAR –TDO - The Kosovo government brought back 110 citizens who left the country to join ISIS and their families.
Kosovo Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri said that the Kosovo Government had brought 110 citizens extradited from Syria to the country with the help of the United States. Tahiri did not share the details of US’ help.
According to local media reports, it is very important for the US to provide assistance and logistical infrastructure to bring back those citizens.
Authorities stated that 32 of the returnees were women and 74 of them were children. They also said that 9 of the children were in the absence of parents.
