Serhat TUNAR -TDO- In New Zealand, the 24-hour detention period of the top suspect in the mosque attacks, which killed 50 people, was extended by murder charges. Brenton Harrison Tarrant will face the other charges in the second trial on 5 April.
According to the Euronews, 28-year-old Tarrant who did not request bail remained silent during the trial and made signs of the supremacy of the white race.
Only members of the press were taken to the trial, which was closed to public for security reasons.
As is known, in the attack on two mosques in New Zealand's Christchurch city, the people inside the mosque were attacked with gunfire, 50 people were killed and at least 40 people were injured.
