Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The Italian government wants to take measures to reduce the population throughout the country in recent years. Italian rulers plan to give incentives to those who settle in villages where the population is greatly reduced. Molise is one of the regions where the incentive is planned. It has been announced that in Molise the region's management will give 700 euros each month for 3 years to people who establish business in the villages having under the population of 2 thousand people.

Authorities say the incentive system is preferred in villages to increase the population and increase economic viability. Molise, a population of 305 thousand people, has migrated from 910 thousand people in the last 5 years.

Many villages were completely emptied because there was no one living in Italy. While the Italian authorities had received a lot of appreciation to attract populations to these villages and towns, they had begun to implement incentive systems frequently.

It is known that the number of Italian citizens living in Italy has decreased by 677 thousand in the last 5 years.
