Serhat TUNAR -TDO- China's exports fell 1.1 percent in November compared with the same period last year, while its imports rose by 1 percent, according to a survey by Germany-based Reuters News Agency.

The foreign trade surplus in November amounted to $ 38 billion. The foreign trade surplus in October was $ 42.81 billion.

The country's surplus in foreign trade with the United States was $ 24.6 billion in November, according to Chinese customs data. That figure was $ 26.45 billion in October.

China's trade surplus with the United States in the past 11 months is known to be $ 272.5 billion. The United States and China have been experiencing an implicit trade war over the past two years, with taxes imposed on each other mutually.

The World Trade Organization warns that increasing customs duties and resumption of conservatism in foreign trade pose a threat to the world economy.
