Serhat TUNAR -TDO- As security discussions continue over the establishment of the 5G network in Germany, Interior Minister Horst Seehofer recently announced that the creation of the 5G infrastructure would not be possible without China-based technology giant Huawei.
The United States, on the other hand, is trying to convince its European allies not to use Huawei Technologies.
Speaking to Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said he did not think they could build a 5G network in Germany in the short term without Huawei's involvement and that if Huawei is excluded, there could be a 10-year delay in the implementation of this technology.
Seehofer also argued that it was not right to take a product off Sunday with the possibility that something was just happening.
So far, Germany has not given up on working with Huawei, but has decided that the companies involved in this project should comply with strict safety rules.
