According to diplomatic sources, Mevlut Cavusoglu had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. The two ministers discussed the latest developments in Syria.
The AP News Agency said 13 Syrian soldiers were killed in Turkey's counter-attacks. As is known, President Erdogan said 30-35 Syrians had been neutralized.
Russia and Turkey mutually accuse each other of failing to fulfil their responsibilities in Syria. Russia largely controls Syrian airspace.
